Lightech Transformers
Our Lightech, Hatch and R low-voltage halogen electronic transformers are simply the best. Lightech’s 12V and 24V halogen lighting transformers have a patented Auto-thermal Regulation (proportional dimming of the output voltage over 90C) and a self-preserving 125C Thermal Cut-off. These low voltage power supplies also have embedded technology that make the transformers runs cool with associated higher efficiency (∼95% at full load). Every Lightech low voltage transformer includes patent-protected mechanisms. The electronic transformer output is automatically reduced if it overheats. This reduces the heat generation and greatly improves performance. This is a better alternative to other lighting transformers that cut off the output to the light directly. Lightech electronic transformers can be dimmed by low cost TRIAC dimmers.
